The Battle of Juma 9 was a battle during 21 BBY. It started out when the Separatists were planning to destroy Naboo's sun with a super weapon. Obi-Wan Kenobi went to Juma 9 so he could renedzvous with Senator Padm'e Amidala to investigate these claims.

Shortly after Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived at Juma 9, he told Commander Cody to fuel his starfighter and then he confronted Plo Koon. Kenobi was surprised the Jedi had arrived and the two went onto an elevator. Koon asked how Skywalker was doing with Ahsoka Tano, and Kenobi said they make a good pair since they are so reckless. Just then, the elevator stopped and the two saw battle droids. Koon and Kenobi with some clone troopers attacked the droids and managed to make it to the hanger. Koon told all pilots to go into their Y-Wing Bombers. Meanwhile, Cody and other troopers were trying to divert power from the generator so the droids wouldn't destroy it. After Kenobi and Koon tried to send a message for help but were being blocked, Kenobi told Cody to evacuate, and so Cody, Private Switch, and some troopers battled to the hanger and escape pods. Cody's pod wasn't working so Switch manually set it off and sacrificed himself as Cody left. Kenobi and Koon made it to the bridge to find the Skakoan Kul Teska. The Jedi pursued Teska and dueled with him until the two Jedi sent him into outer space, but Teska flew away. The two Jedi lost their lightsabers. Later, Mace Windu, Commander Ponds, and Kit Fisto arrived. Ponds reported that he found Cody and his men and Windu found Switch.
