The Battle of Muunilinst was a major battle that took place four months after the Battle of Geonosis. The forces were the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Republic flew down and struck at the Separatists before a full drawn-out battle began. As part of the operation, there was a squad of clone troopers that was sent away into the city to destroy an Ion cannon covertly. They were successful but many of the troopers died.

The battle[]
Banking Clan members worried about the battle
Despite losing several gunships to enemy missile fire, the Republic's invasion force, including gunships and the assault ships carrying SPHA walkers, managed to land on the planet, where they engaged the Separatist Droid Army in front of the city of Harnaidan, while Anakin led the flight groups against Separatist fighter craft in orbit. Hundreds of assault ships landed throughout the heavily fortified world, their hulls filled with troops and vehicles, taking heavy losses in the process. They proceeded to besiege the cities. One of the main objectives of the battle was to capture key members of the banking clan and destroy banking clan ships. Anakin led the fight in space while Obi-Wan Kenobi's led an ARC Trooper squad, the Munnilinst 10, to capture the Banking Clan leaders.
The command tower breaching[]
After a joust and a battle with the bounty hunter Durge, General Kenobi rushed through the city to the command tower, where he met up with the Muunilinst 10 to proceed with the mission. After blasting open the roof of the structure with explosives, the troops, led by Kenobi, rappeled into the control room and quickly destroyed the security droids inside.
Capturing San Hill, Kenobi offered to spare his life in exchange for an unconditional surrender. Before Hill had a chance to answer, Durge smashed through the tower window into the room on a jetpack. However, he was quickly shot down by concentrated fire from the clone troopers and ARC's. Hill took the opportunity to take cover under the situation table.
Battle in Space[]

Meanwhile, Anakin Skywalker was leading the clone navy in a fierce space battle above Muunilinst. Several Republic assault ships engaged the Confederacy's gun platforms. The Republic's fighters were engaged by large numbers of starfighters. Skywalker ordered the clone pilots to disengage, and destroyed large numbers of the enemy fighters on his own through his skilled piloting.
