Benni Baro was a male human who lived in an ipsium mine formerly owned by the Techno Union. After the end of the Clone Wars, the Techno Union withdrew from the barren world, leaving the mine in the hands of corrupt foreman Mokko. Benni Baro worked under Mokko's employ, collecting scrap and parts in exchange for rations.
When Clone Force 99 arrived on his world to mine ipsium, Baro stole their shuttle in an attempt to impress Mokko. But when he returned with the stolen ship, Benni was still not rewarded as the "top earner" by Mokko, being passed up in favor of one of his rival miners. Benni later helped the clones take their ship back, realizing how Mokko was exploiting him and his fellow miners.
