The Clone Wars

"Don't look at me. It's Boost, sir. He only takes a bath when he's on leave."
"Save it! Just keep working on the pod, not your jokes."

Boost, designated CT-4860, was a clone trooper who fought in the Clone Wars alongside Jedi General Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe. He was one of the longest-serving members of Wolfpack.

Equipment[]

Before the battle of Abregado, Boost wore Wolfpack's standard maroon-marked Phase I clone trooper armor design. Later, during the Battle of Felucia, Boost wore grey marked clone trooper armor. During the change to Phase II, his armor retained the grey markings with additional spikes directly under his visor. He regularly used a DC-15S blaster carbine.

Biography[]

Rising Malevolence[]

Boost was stationed in the Triumphant when a task force led by Plo Koon was sent to hunt down the Separatist superweapon, the Malevolence, which attacked the Republic cruisers with its ion weapon and subsequently destroyed them. Boost fled in an escape pod along with Sinker, Wolffe, and Koon. The ion blast drained their escape pod's power, leaving them stranded. They soon discovered the remaining life pods were being hunted down by the droids to eliminate any witnesses to the Malevolence and its ion cannon.

Boost and Sinker eventually managed to restore the pod's power and came into contact with another escape pod that was under attack. They watched helplessly as battle droid hunters cut the pod open, dooming the clones inside to die in the vacuum of space. When the droids arrived to destroy their pod as well, Koon took Sinker and Boost out into space to destroy them. While they successfully defeated the droids, the pod was heavily damaged in the battle. The clones believed no one was coming to rescue them as they were meant to be expendable, but Koon insisted they were worth saving.

Wolffe barely managed to make contact with Ahsoka Tano, who arrived with her master Anakin Skywalker to search for survivors. Their pod was soon found and pulled aboard the Twilight, where a medical droid tended to the clones' injuries. The Twilight then narrowly escaped the Malevolence and brought news of the superweapon back to the Republic. Boost, Sinker, Wolffe, and Koon were the only survivors of the apocalyptic attack, and so Wolfpack changed its armor design to honor their fallen comrades.

Padawan Lost[]

Boost was on Felucia when Republic forces consisting of the 104th Battalion and the 501st Legion attacked a droid outpost. Boost, alongside Sinker and Comet, attacked the back wall with Commander Ahsoka Tano in a coordinated strike. Ahsoka covered the troopers as they scaled the wall but was abducted by Trandoshan hunters before she could join them. After the Republic successfully captured the outpost, the clones conducted extensive searches of the surrounding area but found no trace of Tano, departing the outpost without her.

Mercy Mission[]

Boost was one of the members of the Wolfpack sent down to the surface of Aleena to help the inhabitants there with a relief supply after a series of massive groundquakes devastated the planet. Boost and Sinker took a team and astromech droid R2-D2 to restore communications. During the mission, their translator droid C-3PO and R2 went missing underground where they ended up saving the planet from future quakes.

After finding the two droids back, Wolfpack prepared to depart the planet. Annoyed by C-3PO's ramblings over saving the planet, Wolffe decided to offload the two droids when they rendezvoused with Jedi Master Adi Gallia, to which the other clones heartily agreed.
