Broadside was a clone trooper that was part of Shadow Squadron. During the first Mission with Anakin Skywalker, he took the callsign "Shadow Three," but during the Battle of Kamino, he was "Shadow One." He was a pilot of Shadow Squadron who flew a Y-Wing bomber in both the Battles.
The Malevolence[]
Broadside was a member of Shadow Squadron during the Malevolence Crisis and was dispatched with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Plo Koon, Matchstick, and the rest of Shadow Squadron. Before they left for the mission, he said that if he and Matchstick make it through this Battle of Kaliida Nebula, he will buy drinks for the whole Squadron.
During the mission to destroy the Malevolence, Shadow Squadron lost many clone pilots. The only survivors were Broadside and three other Shadow Squadron, pilots.

Clone Pilot Broadside at the Third Battle of Kamino
GeneralGrievous and Asajj Ventress planned an invasion to destroy the Clone DNA and slow down the production of clone troopers. The Republic helped to repel this invasion. The Battle first started in space with Separatist frigates and Separatist Destroyers. Anakin and Broadside destroyed the Separatist fighter squadron, but unknown at the time, the debris from the destroyed Separatist vessel carried hundreds of Aqua Droids down to the surface.
