Chewbacca was a Wookiee born on Kashyyyk who fancied working with smugglers, as he would after the Clone Wars.
Wookiee Hunt[]
Chewbacca was abducted from his homeworld by a group of Trandoshan hunters. After Ahsoka Tano, Jinx, and O-Mer crashed the Trandoshan landing craft, Chewbacca emerged from the wreckage and joined the three Padawans.
Claiming that he could construct a transmitter out of the wreckage of the ship, the group heads back to the crash site. While he and Ahsoka were there Smug spotted the two inside of the wreckage. After Chewbacca successfully constructed a transmitter, Ahsoka was nearly shot by Smug, who was attacked by Jinx and O-Mer right when he was about to shoot. Chewbacca was about to choke Smug to death, when Ahsoka stopped him, stating that that they should take him as a hostage.
Back at the hideout, Chewbacca tested the transmitter he had built, disappointed to find out that it did not work. Jinx later insisted that they should give up on building a transmitter and use their hostage, Smug, to their advantage.
A new plan was formulated and Chewbacca led Smug out into the open. Jinx then mind tricked the captive into calling a speeder. The speeder soon arrived and the group successfully hijacked it. Although the padawans did not know, Chewbacca's transmitter had actually worked.
A battle ensued on Garnac's fortress, where Chewbacca defeated several Trandoshans. The Jedi were defeated, however, Tarfful and a squad of Wookiees unexpectedly came to help. After the battle, Chewbacca safely returned to his home world of Kashyyyk.
