Clone Trooper Sergeant Appo on Umbara

Clone trooper sergeant was one of the lower ranks of the Clone Troopers rank designation system. Sergeants lead small groups of corporals and privates into battle and were usually in charge of keeping their squads in shape. Sergeant Appo was a sergeant of the famous 501st Legion.

Identification

Although clone trooper sergeants were said to wear clone trooper armor with green markings, this was rarely the case later in the Clone Wars, as color then denoted unit instead of rank. Most sergeants wore standard white armor while others wore customized armor to signify what squad or group they belonged to.
