The Coporate Alliance was one of the many interstellar corporate entities that formed the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Like the IGBC and the Trade Federation, the Corporate Alliance also had its own private military consisting of battle droids like the infamous Persuader-class Droid Enforcer a unit known for its proclivity to fire on civilian targets. Among its ranks included famed Separatist Admiral Trench who was one of the Confederacy's most dangerous commanders.
In the Separatist Congress, the Corporate Alliance was represented by Senator Voe Atell. Atell was one of the most outspoken voices against allowing peace talks between the Confederacy and the Republic, however, Voe ultimately found herself in the minority after Mina Bonteri was able to secure the necessary votes to ensure that the Republic Senate and Separatist Congress would in fact begin to negotiate. Senator Atell, however, was none the less present when Padmé Amidala and the other Galactic Republic representatives arrived for the summit, Raxus.
