Credits were the standard form of currency throughout the galaxy. They had different values depending on the type. They also differed in where they could be used. Republic credits, while accepted on Republic worlds, would occasionally be denied by star systems in league with the CIS. They came in multiple colors, though gold and silver were the most commonly used in the galaxy.
