Cruiser 8 was the designation of an Acclamator-class assault ship that was present during the Battle of Muunilinst. During the battle, while Jedi Commander Anakin Skywalker was being pursued by numerous Nantex-class starfighters, he ordered Red Leader to fire all his squadron's missiles towards cruiser 8. Skywalker used the cruiser's bow as a blind spot to ensnare the enemy fighters in many of the missiles, using the rest to destroy a Banking Clan gun platform.
