Clone Captain Rex wielded twin DC-17 blaster pistols
The BlasTech Industries DC-17 hand blaster was a blaster pistol utilized by Clone Troopers during the Clone Wars. The pistol shared many of the same operational mechanics of the slightly larger DC-15S carbine and was used primarily by more elite clones. ARC troopers, Commanders, and Clone Jet troopers frequently used the DC-17 in combat. The weapon was classified as a heavy blaster pistol capable of taking down opponents effectively with an average 50 shot cartridge capacity.
The DC-17 could be equipped with a grappling gun. This would be attached to the underside of the barrel, and pulling the trigger would instead fire the cable.
