The Delta Squad was an elite group of highly trained and well-equipped Republic clone commandos, led by commando Boss.
Like most Clone Commando squads, Delta squad was especially renowned for its skilled and highly trained members. They were often called on to perform dangerous combat missions that standard clones could not handle.

Delta Squad was called to perform an investigation on the Temple of Eedit on Devaron, which Savage Opress had recently attacked. The squad managed to recover the bodies of Halsey and Knox, but were unable to find any survivors of the attack.
