Hawkeye was a clone trooper who served under Mace Windu and Commander Ponds during the Battle of Malastare. After an electron-proton bomb was dropped on the battlefield, a sinkhole started, swallowing some Republic troops and tanks. Hawkeye accompanied the search party and broke off with Windu, Ponds, and Trapper to look for other survivors. Unknown to them, they were walking on top of the Zillo Beast, and when it awoke, the team was forced to flee. During the chase, Hawkeye was killed when the Beast crushed a boulder on top of him, but Windu, Ponds, and Trapper made it to the awaiting gunship.
