Into the Breach[]

In 18 BBY, Holmes worked on board Imperial Station 003 in the orbit of Coruscant. He was in charge of Docking Bay 5-02, when the Rho-class transport shuttle, designated Alpha-44, was cleared to land. The shuttle was not on Holmes' manifest, so he was prompted to question the crew on board.

Three clone troopers and an officer disembarked, whom the lieutenant did not recognize. They were the disguised Clone Force 99 (Hunter, Crosshair, Wrecker) as well as the disgraced Edmon Rampart. The group had stolen the shuttle to infiltrate the station and discover a route to Wayland.

Holmes questioned the troopers, asking of their division for their uniform was not in regulation. Rampart, disguised as a captain, stepped forward and intimidated the officer with threats of contacting Governor Tarkin. Following this, Holmes apologized for the inconvenience and promptly left the docking bay.

Upon finding an inconsistency with the shuttle's base of origin, Holmes returned to shuttle Alpha-44. only to find Wrecker seated alone inside. The lieutenant asked the clone for the whereabouts of Rampart, and received no helpful answer. Holmes then asked for Wrecker to verify the signature key instead, and was directed to a console. Wrecker closed the shuttle doors, silently knocking out the officer.

Wrecker reported subduing Holmes to Hunter, who'd pressed on further into the facility. Upon returning to the shuttle to escape, Wrecker dragged the lieutenant's still unconscious body out onto the hangar bay.
