Jek was a clone trooper of the Coruscant Guard and later the Ranger Corps during the Clone Wars. Some of his companions included Yoda, Rys, and Thire. He was known to be a heavy weapons specialist before his time with Yoda on Rugusa, after which he decided to retrain as a clone scout trooper. During Order 66, Jek (at this time a captain) was on Kashyyyk guarding Yoda with Commander Gree. Along with Gree, Jek attempted to assassinate Yoda but failed due to him sensing the threat and decapitating both clones.
Appearance[]
Jek, like Rys, bore many red markings on his Phase I clone trooper armor, like on the visor of his helmet, gloves, and shoulder pads, as well as other areas. Being a heavy weapons specialist, Jek carried a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and an RPS-6 rocket launcher in battle and had at least three thermal detonators on his person. His armor also featured a bandoleer that held extra ammo and two holsters for the dual DC-17 blaster pistols he wielded. During the Battle on Kashyyyk, Jek wore scout trooper armor, and carried a DC-15S blaster carbine.
