L8-L9 was a droid gladiator with masculine programming who fought in the Cauldron on Rattatak during the Clone Wars.

He used flamethrowers in his gladiator fights.The droid use the flamethrowers more frequently than any other weapons supplied. L8-L9 killed a gladiator before Asajj Ventress arrived, and started out his fight with his flamethrowers. However, Ventress soon swiftly destroyed the droid.
