Marg Krim was a prominent Pyke leader within the Pyke Syndicate during the Clone Wars. Following the death of minister Lom, Krim oversaw many spice operations for the syndicate alongside his majordomo, Fife.

Biography[]

Deal No Deal[]

Working in conjunction with royal majordomo Kinash Lock, Krim hired Rafa Martez to transport raw spice from Kessel to Oba Diah, intending to use a nondescript starship that would not draw the attention of pirates. When Rafa's original pilot backed out, she turned to her sister Trace and her starship, the Silver Angel, to make the delivery. Former padawan Ahsoka Tano, who was working with the Martez sisters at the time, objected to delivering the spice to the Pykes, who would likely use it to manufacture drugs. While Tano argued with Rafa over alternatives, Trace made the panicked decision to dump the spice into space.

Now owing the Pykes thirty thousand credits worth of spice, the sisters arrived on Oba Diah empty-handed. Krim greeted the sisters on the platform but refused to pay them until he saw the spice for himself. However, Tano used a mind trick on Krim and convinced him to hand over the payment without verifying the shipment. As they attempted to leave, Fife saw through the deception and forced the containers open, finding them empty. The Pykes then captured the Silver Angel and imprisoned Tano and the sisters for swindling them.

The Phantom Apprentice[]

Krim was later contacted by Darth Maul during the Siege of Mandalore. Maul instructed him along with the other heads of the Shadow Collective to go into hiding. Unbeknownst to any of them, Maul had foreseen the end of the Clone Wars and was preparing to seize control in the chaos that followed.
