Matchstick was a clone trooper pilot of Shadow Squadron. He was assigned to the Jedi Plo Koon, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano to destroy the Malevolence. He was killed when trying to avoid being hit by the Malevolence's electronic EMP; his right engine failed after being damaged by a Neebray Manta and his Y-Wing collided with pilot Tag's, killing both pilots.
