Mayday was a Clone Commander who served in command of an outpost on Barton-4 during the reign of the Galactic Empire. He commanded a squad of Clone Troopers who protected a supply of Imperial armor.

Biography[]

The Outpost[]

While guarding the crates, the outpost came under attack by local insurgents who stole the armor for themselves. Between the attacks and the cold climate, the outpost fell into disrepair. Their gear reflected the rundown conditions as well, with the clones forced to bundle up their armor and helmets just to keep warm. Mayday put in several requests for additional troops and better equipment to work with, but all of his requests were ignored.

Reinforcements finally arrived with Commander Crosshair and Lieutenant Nolan, who were sent to transfer the crates offworld. Mayday hoped that this meant his squad would finally be able to leave the planet. When his two remaining squadmates were killed in another insurgent strike, he helped Crosshair track down the insurgents. While searching the caverns the insurgents used to bypass the outpost's security, Crosshair stepped on a pressure mine. But Mayday used improvised tools to disarm it, saving Crosshair, before continuing on to the insurgent camp.

Mayday and Crosshair ambushed the insurgents in their camp and destroyed their base by triggering one of their mines. Crosshair shot one of the insurgents who tried to escape with the crates, which he and Mayday then retrieved, only to find they contained new Imperial Stormtrooper armor. Mayday lamented that they'd risked their lives to save equipment for their replacement soldiers, much like the clones had fought valiantly only to be discarded. Just then, the blast from the mine caused an avalanche that engulfed the two troopers. Mayday saved Crosshair from the brunt of it, but died soon after from hypothermia. After Nolan expressed cold apathy at the clone's death, Crosshair shot and killed him before falling unconscious.
