The Mon Cala monarchy was the government of the planet Mon Cala. After the Battle of Mon Cala, Lee-Char was crowned as the 83rd king of the planet after his father, Yos Kolina was killed by the separatist commander and warlord Riff Tamson.

History

In 20 BBY Yos Kolina, King of Mon Cala, was killed, and the Quarren people refused to support the coronation of his son, Prince Lee-Char.

At the initiative of the Separatist ambassador and commander Riff Tamson, the Quarren withdrew from the Galactic Republic and a civil war broke out between the Mon Calamaris and the Quarrens.

Eventually, the Quarren returned to the Republic when it was revealed that the separatists were trying to replace Tamson as the ruler of Mon Cala instead of Nossor Ri. After defeating the separatist forces and killing Tamson, Lee-Char was crowned as the King of Mon Cala
