The Mon Calamari spear blaster was an underwater weapon used by the Mon Calamari on Dac. It was the standard Mon Calamari weapon; their shape was very different from that of conventional blasters being designed similarly to a conventional or primitive spear with the addition of blaster technology. The weapon could be skillfully manipulated with one hand for both ranged and close range combat.
History[]
The Spear Blaster was used by the Mon Cala during the Second Battle of Dac by the Mon Calamari soldiers against the Quarren and Aqua Droid invasion forces. During the battle, the Quarren and the Mon Cala broke up into close combat, giving the occasion to soldiers to use them as spears.
