Nautolans were an amphibious species that were seen across the galaxy although in considerably smaller numbers than say Humans or Zabraks. This humanoid species like Twi'leks possessed tendrils extending from the back of their heads and generally seem to have a greenish skin tone. However it noted that like many species the skin colors of Nautolans varied and hues from yellow to even shades of orange were not unheard of. The amphibious origins of the Nautolan species gave them the ability to breath both above and under water.
The most notable member of this race during the Clone Wars was Jedi Master Kit Fisto who was known for his acts on planets like Vassek and Mon Calamari.
