The Nikto were a reptilian humanoid sentient species native to the planet Kintan.

There existed at least six Nikto subspecies: Kajain'sa'Nikto (Red Nikto), Kadas'sa'Nikto (Green Nikto), Esral'sa'Nikto (Mountain Nikto), Gluss'sa'Nikto (Pale Nikto), M'shento'su'Nikto (Southern Nikto) & the Numol'elrul'Nikto. The Nikto were a humanoid alien species hailing from the planet Kintan, featuring coarse, scaly skin that was marked horns and spikes. The Niktos were found from world to world; several were in the employ of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine, and Ima-Gun Di was a notable Jedi Master during the final days of the Republic.
