Nuvo Vindi was a doctor and scientist who was working with the CIS to re-engineer the Blue Shadow Virus, a deadly pathogen that was eradicated many years earlier.

Blue Shadow Virus[]
Vindi's base of operations was a laboratory located in the eastern swamp lands that he worked in before the Battle of Naboo. After days of poisoning local rivers on the planet Senator Padmé Amidala and Representative Jar Jar Binks stumbled across his lair, while Vindi was perfecting the virus and preparing for release. Two Jedi, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with several clone troopers, broke in, captured the doctor, and foiled his attempt to release the Blue Shadow Virus across the galaxy.
Mystery of a Thousand Moons[]
He is captured and brought to Coruscant for trial for his crimes.
