Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Jedi and High Jedi General for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Kenobi's importance to the war was unprecedented, as he was a key factor to a great number of the Republic's victories. Aside from his skills in battle, Obi-Wan Kenobi also possessed extraordinary skills as a diplomat, with solutions that ended battles without fighting.
Biography[]
Battle of Muunilinst[]
A few months after the Battle of Geonosis, the Republic discovered Banking Clan's occupation on the planet of Muunilinst and Chancellor Palpatine sent Obi-Wan Kenobi to lead the ground attack. The Chancellor told him and Yoda that Anakin Skywalker should lead the air strike team due to his experiences with piloting. Obi-Wan and Yoda didn't agree at first, but the Chancellor didn't give up until they did. Then Obi-Wan watched as his troops were getting aboard the Republic Cruiser thinking of what Qui-Gon Jinn would think about the Clone Wars. After the arrival of the Muunilinst, Obi-Wan leaded the invasion on the Capital, while the squad of ARC troopers destroyed the heavy cannons inside the city. Banking Clan then sent Durge to fight with Obi-Wan's forces who easily destroyed few of the heavy weaponry Republic brought to the planet. Then he dueled with Kenobi who almost managed to destroy him. But, while fighting in the Main Enemy Headquarters he destroyed Durge in one-to one combat and San Hill and few other Banking Clan members were arrested. After the Battle of Muunilinst was resolved, Kenobi was contacted via hologram by Jedi Master Daakman Bareek who told him about the fight on Hypori. His transmission was cut short however by General Grievous. Kenobi sent ARC troopers lead by Fordo to rescue the Jedi. Only three survived: Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti. Secura and Ti however were left in critical condition.
Becoming a Member of the Jedi High Council[]
At some point after Muunilinst, Kenobi became a Jedi Master and was given the seat on the Jedi High Council that had been left vacant by the absence of Depa Billaba, who had been severely injured and comatosed by General Grievous. As a Jedi High General, he took command of the Open Circle Fleet and Third Systems Army, which Commander Cody's 7th Sky Corps were part of. He began to wear pieces of Phase I Clone Trooper armor in battle after adopting some during the Battle of Muunilinst. As a member of the Jedi Council, Kenobi helped persuade the Council that his Padawan learner Anakin Skywalker was ready to become a Jedi Knight. Kenobi, along with the rest of the Council barring Mace Windu, was a part of Skywalker's Knighting ceremony.
Cat and Mouse[]
After Anakin was made a Jedi Knight, he and Obi-Wan were sent to the planet of Christophsis in order to help the natives and Senator Bail Organa fight back the Separatists, who were trying to take over the planet. The enemy blockade, that was controlled by Trench, was soon destroyed by Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) when he used a stealth ship.
The Hidden Enemy[]
Two Jedi and their clone armies got to the surface and the battle started. Republic started to win, until Jedi found out there was a traitor that gave Separatists the information about surprise attack in the North and South Tower. While Rex and Cody were given a task to find a traitor, Anakin Skywalker and Kenobi went to the enemy headquarters, passing by battle droids who even didn't want to stop them. Ken
obi and Skywalker got in the headquarters, knowing that it was a trap. They were then welcomed by Dark apprentice Asajj Ventress with whom they dueled until they reached the balcony on the top of the building where Ventress escaped. The two Jedi found in front of thew building big droid army preparing to march on the city. Kenobi and Skywalker escaped using STAPs and arrived just in time to see Seargent Slick, a traitor, being arrested.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (film)[]
The Separatist march on the city started, and soon Kenobi, Skywalker and their troops were in the middle of the battle. With the Republic starting to loose in the battle, Jedi contacted Admiral Yularen who was leading battle in the space, to ask Yoda if they could get reinforcements. Yoda, who got the message, sent young Padawan Ahsoka Tano who was assigned to Skywalker. While Tano and Skywalker were taking care of enemy shield generator, Kenobi surrendered to enemy Admiral Loathsom. With him, he discussed the terms of surrender, but that only made Loathsom mad. When he just wanted to kill Kenobi, shield was destroyed and Republic reinforcements arrived destroying rest of Droid army. Loathsom was arrested and Kenobi, Skywalker, and his new Padawan Tano were given new assignments by Master Yoda.
When Jabba's son Rotta was kidnapped by Count Dooku and his apprentice Asajj Ventress, Jedi Council sent Kenobi to negotiate about finding his missing son. Kenobi told Jabba, that Jedi Order already sent his apprentice and one more Jedi to find Rotta and that they will bring him back, if they could get control over Outer Rim in return. Jabba, agreed. Obi-Wan contacted Skywalker who was already on his way to Teth, where Rotta was being kept.
After negotiations finished, Kenobi and Ghost Company joined battle of Teth as Anakin's reinforcements. Kenobi found Rex and his men fighting against heavily armed battle droids, so he gave them few of his men to help him. Then, Kenobi went searching for Anakin and Ahsoka, but he didn't find them. He found Ventress. Ventress attacked him and dueled him all the way to narrow bridge outside the monastery. Then, when Kenobi was just to finish Ventress, she escaped on a Vulture droid that she called over comlink. The battle was won and Anakin brought Rotta back to his father, and in return Republic took over control of Outer Rim.
Downfall of a Droid[]
Shortly after the Battle of Falleen, where Separatist won, Kenobi warned Skywalker in Bothuwai system that Grievous is planning to attack them. The Republic has won the battle, but Anakin's starfighter was shot by Grievous, so he was very injured and R2-D2 disappeared. Kenobi told Anakin not to worry about astromech, because he will find a replacement, but Skywalker told him that R2 was unique and that he didn't erased his memory. Kenobi, now cross, ordered Anakin to find the droid, what made Anakin a little happier.
Rising Malevolence[]
When Jedi Council found out about General Grievous's secret weapon, they sent Jedi Master Plo Koon in order to track it down and destroy it. While Koon was reporting to Skywalker about his position and the starship, an ion cannon from Malevolence destroyed his Republic cruisers, so Koon and his troops got into escape pod to save themselves.
When the Jedi heard the news about Plo Koon and his possible defeat, the Jedi Order decided that no Jedi should go search for him because of the big risk. Ahsoka, Anakin's Padawan, didn't agree, so she and her master didn't obey Kenobi's orders and went to look for the missing Jedi. Thanks to Ahsoka, Plo Koon was found and brought to Twilight where he explained what Grievous's superweapon actually was. With this news, Jedi decided to destroy Malevolence and Grievous.
Shadow of Malevolence[]
Shortly after, the Malevolence made its way to the Republic Kaliida Shoals Medical Center where it intended to attack the center and cause many Republic casualties. Skywalker piloted a squadron of Y-Wing Bombers in a mission to disable the Malevolence and eliminate Separatist leader, General Grievous. Barely escaping alive, the squadron engaged the Malevolence and suffered many casualties however after Tano's quick thinking she suggested a change in tactics. Skywalker then led his squad in an attempt to disable the Malevolence's weapon, an ion cannon. This operation proved a success, crippling the Separatist warship. Just then, from hyperspace, the Republic cruiser arrived with him, who congratulated Anakin for destroying the Malevolence.
Destroy Malevolence[]
As they prepared their final attack on the Malevolence, Skywalker, Kenobi and Plo Koon received a transmission from Senator Padmé Amidala and her droid C-3PO claiming that they had been taken hostage aboard the Malevolence. Kenobi finally agreed with Anakin's plan to rescue them. Upon arrival, the rescue team split up, Skywalker found Amidala and programmed the Malevolence's navicomputer to crash the warship into a nearby moon. Meanwhile, Kenobi
arrived to hyperspace generator room where he was attacked by battle droids and droidekas and finally by General Grievous. Kenobi dueled Grievous, but Grievous escaped in Soulless One. Meanwhile, Kenobi arrived on time to meet with the rest of rescue team in front of Twilight, and they all returned back to medical station, while Malevolence crashed into Dead moon of Antar.
Rookies[]
As Kenobi and Skywalker were searching for Grievous, they found out that the base on Rishi Moon was destroyed. They arrived to the moon in order to help Captain Rex and Commander Cody who were already fighting Separatist forces. When Grievous saw Republic reinforcements, he ordered all frigates to jump to hyperspace and his surprise attack on Kamino failed. Echo and Fives, the only survivors from the incident were awarded for their bravery and became honorary members of the 501st Legion.
Dooku Captured[]
Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan later tried to capture the Head of Confederacy, Count Dooku. When their plan to catch him on his cruiser didn't succeed, Ahsoka Tano successfully shot his starfighter and he fell on the nearby planet of Vanquor. The two Jedi followed him and searched for him in one of nearby caves, but they only got themselves trapped and Dooku got away. He soon found a group of pirates leaded by Hondo Ohnaka, who took him to planet of Florrum and captured him there. When Kenobi and Skywalker were found and taken back to Coruscant, Ohnaka told them via hologram that he has Dooku and will sell him for right price.
The Gungan General[]
Republic soon heard about this news and sent Senator Kharrus, Jar Jar Binks, Stone and few more clones to give the ransom for all three prisoners, but Hondo Ohnaka's friend Turk Falso fooled Ohnaka and destroyed Republic shuttle killing senator Kharrus. On the end, Kenobi and his padawan were rescued by Jar Jar Binks, but Count Dooku ran away again. Before leaving, Kenobi warned Hondo that Dooku might return to Florrum in order to have revenge.
Trespass[]
Obi-Wan, Anakin, Rex, C-3PO, Artoo, and representatives of Pantora went to investigate a command center from the Republic. Anakin and Obi-Wan found out that the clones were all killed, and that it wasn't a Separatist attack because the Separatist base was destroyed as well. Anakin and Obi-Wan went to investigate and met with a Talz leader. Anakin tried drawing a picture to show peace between the two. The Talz leader agreed and Anakin and Obi-Wan told the Chairman about peace negotiations. The Chairman refused saying that Orto Plutonia was Pantoran territory. After a fierce conversation with the Talz, the two sides prepared for war. Anakin ordered Rex and his men to only protect the Chairman. The Chairman was stabbed by Talz, but Senator Riyo Chuchi ended the conflict. While Anakin told his troops to get on the gunships and prepare to leave, Kenobi congratulated Senator Chuchi in creating peace and urged her to act as an example to others.
The Blue Shadow Virus[]
The Jedi Council sent Obi-wan, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano to Naboo in response to intelligence that suggested that a Separatist bio-lab had been set up on the planet. Senator Amidala and Representative Jar Jar Binks sent off to search for the lab, but contact was lost, and Anakin sent Ahsoka along with the Gungan native Peppi Bow to locate them. Meanwhile, Obi-wan and Anakin learned a new information from captain Gregar Typho that Separatist scientist Nuvo Vindi was using the lab to perfect the deadly Blue Shadow Virus so as to release it into key Republic star systems.
When Ahsoka and Peppi Bow known where Padmé Amidala and Jar Jar Binks disappeared, Ahsoka contacted Obi-wan,he told her to detonate a bomb in the south bunker to create a distraction. After this, Obi-wan come to aid Ahsoka before going to search for the bomb. Though Vindi attempted to release the virus, the Jedi were able to apprehend him and rescue Padmé and Jar Jar Binks.
Mystery of a Thousand Moons[]
When Kenobi and Skywalker prepared to transfer Vindi for trial, Ahsoka, Amidala and several clones discovered that a vial of the virus was missing. Though they were able to sound the alarm, it was not in time, and Vindi's still-at-large servant droid LEP-86C8 was able to detonate a bomb, releasing the virus throughout the lab. The Jedi were then forced to make their way to the planet of Iego to search for the antidote to the virus, so as to save Amidala and Ahsoka. While on Iego, the Jedi were able to free the people there from an insidious Separatist security system designed to prevent the inhabitants from leaving the planet, with the help of young Jaybo Hood. Fortunately, they were also able to locate the antidote and returned in time to save Ahsoka, Amidala and most of the clones.
Storm over Ryloth[]
- "Ahsoka, this is Obi-Wan. May we begin our landing?"
"Yes, master. You're cleared for ground assault."
"I won't even ask where the rest of Anakin's fleet is. Or why he's in an escape pod."
"That's…probably for the best." - ―Obi-Wan and Ahsoka Tano, after the blockade over Ryloth was broken
After the Techno Union leader, Wat Tambor took control of the planet, Ryloth, the Jedi Council dispatched Obi-Wan and Mace Windu to lead the ground assault. Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano had been sent in advance to break the blockade surrounding the planet. After a failed attempt, Ahsoka and Anakin managed to break through by sacrificing the Jedi Cruiser Defender, and Obi-Wan arrived with a massive invasion force to liberate the planet.
Innocents of Ryloth[]
- "We need to remember why we're here. We came to aid the Twi'leks, not destroy their home."
- ―Obi-wan to Ghost Company
With the blockade destroyed, Obi-Wan descended to the surface with Ghost Company to claim the city of Nabat as the Republic's landing zone. As their LAAT Gunships approached, the droids' Proton Cannons opened fire on the approaching transports. Mace Windu contacted Obi-Wan reporting that the larger transports could not land until the cannons were destroyed. Obi-Wan decided lead an incursion into Nabat to take out the guns while the rest of the invasion force pulled back. Ghost Company landed outside of the village and approached on foot, meeting heavy resistance from the droids at the wall. Obi-Wan took troopers Waxer and Boil close to the wall and used the Force to lift their EMP grenades into the droid emplacements.
With the village perimeter breached, Obi-Wan decided to hold off on advancing further until they knew what they were up against. He ordered Commander Cody and his best men to scout ahead. Cody and Wooley discovered that the droids had taken all the surviving Twi'lek villagers hostage and were using them as living shields near the proton cannons. Obi-Wan reported in to Windu that he had a plan to take out the cannons without sacrificing the villagers. He and the clones made ready to move out, but Waxer and Boil had failed to report in. While concerned for them, Obi-Wan ordered the men to start moving, hoping the others would catch up. Unbeknownst to them, their meeting was spied on by a Separatist probe droid, informing TX-20 that Kenobi's attack was coming. The tactical droid then released several ravenous Gutkurrs on the Republic troops.
The gutkurrs swiftly ravaged the clone troopers, their thick hides impervious to blaster fire. But Obi-Wan reached out to them through the Force, sensing that they were merely starved rather than malicious. He made a connection with all gutkurrs around him and lured them into a dead-end alley. Once all were secluded, he ordered the clones to shoot out the bridge overhead, trapping the beasts in the alley. After escaping the alley, Obi-Wan heard something emerging from a nearby sewer cap: Waxer and Boil, emerging with a young Twi'lek girl named Numa. The two clones encountered her on their scouting mission and she showed them an intricate series of tunnels beneath Nabat. Obi-Wan asked her if she could show them a route to the cannons. Numa agreed to lead them there.
Obi-Wan then revised his plan: Numa would lead him, Waxer and Boil through the tunnels to free the prisoners while Cody and the rest of Ghost Company created a diversion to draw the droids away. With TX-20 and his forces distracted, Obi-Wan began freeing the prisoners and sent them back through the tunnels, reuniting Numa with her uncle, Nilim Bril. With the prisoners safe, Obi-Wan took Waxer and Boil to destroy the proton cannons. He commandeered one cannon, having Waxer and Boil load the shells, and used it to destroy the others. TX-20 had realized Obi-Wan's plan, however, and destroyed his last cannon, with the Jedi and clones thrown off by the blast.
Numa rushed out of the tunnels to help Obi-Wan as he fell at the mercy of TX-20, who aimed his AAT's cannon at them, gloating his victory over Kenobi. Suddenly the freed Twi'leks, inspired by Numa's bravery, rushed to their aid and overwhelmed TX-20. Obi-Wan covered Numa's eyes as the tactical droid was violently dismantled. With the last of the droids defeated and the cannon's destroyed, the Republic Acclamator-class transports were then free to land outside of Nabat. Mace Windu arrived on the scene with his invasion forces, congratulating Obi-Wan on his victory before moving on to the capital city.
As the clones departed, Waxer and Boil said their goodbyes to Numa and she in turn waved at them calling, "Nerra!" Waxer asked Obi-Wan what the word meant, and he translated: "nerra" means "brother."
Holocron Heist[]
- "If this Cad Bane is still here, I'll find him. "
- ―Obi-Wan
Obi-wan was sent along with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano to Felucia which had been invaded by the separatists. While Obi-Wan, Skywalker, Commander Cody and Captain Rex stayed with the main body of troops to defend their clearing-based emplacement of AT-TE walkers, Tano led two AT-TE walkers and a Juggernaut tank on a patrol of the dense jungle. Obi-wan realize that they were losing and ordered the retreat as soon as Master Plo Koon arrived to help them.Obi-wan contacted Ahsoka to retreat they picked her up and escape from Felucia. Obi-wan reported to the rest of the Jedi Council about Ahsoka's actions during the battle.
Later Obi-wan was in the Jedi Temple when Cad Bane and Cato Parasitti infiltrate the Jedi Temple to steal a Jedi Holocron. Obi-wan teamed up with Anakin Skywalker to find Cad Bane. Soon Ahsoka captured Cato Parasitti while Cad Bane managed to escape with Holocron.
Children of the Force[]
The holocron that Cad Bane had taken from the Jedi Temple contained the locations of all the force-sensitive children in the galaxy. The Jedi acted quickly and set out to find the children before Cad Bane got a hold of them. Obi-Wan set out to go to Rodia to rescue a Rodian child. He got to Rodia but Bane had already arrived and kidnapped the child. Obi-Wan ran after the bounty hunter but was too late and he left the planet.
Bane is eventually captured by Anakin and Ahsoka on Naboo and brought onboard a star destroyer for questioning. They are able to convince Cad Bane to lead Obi-Wan and Mace Windu to his hidden base however it ends up being a trap resulting in Bane's escape.
Second Battle of Geonosis[]
The Geonosian resistance was more persistent than anticipated. The Republic needed to neutralize a Separatist base on Geonosis and a weapons factory controlled by Poggle the Lesser. Several gunships were dispatched to land on several different positions on the desert covered planet, and then rendezvous to destroy the shield generator stopping them from entering the enemy stronghold. Obi-Wan, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Ki-Adi-Mundi, were the first Jedi sent to deal with the hostility. The battle began and LAAT gunships descended through the atmosphere to the war ravaged plains below. Anakin Skywalker's gunship was the first to be shot down. They were immediately engaged in a fierce firefight as they emerged from the wreckage. They had a long way to go before they made it to the landing zone. Ki-Adi-Mundi's gunship was the next to be shot down. Before he went down he ordered his clone officer, Commander Jet to inform Commander Cody to get the AT-TE's on the ground. Commander Cody's gunship landed and unloaded several tanks. However, they were instantly bombarded with enemy fire. Cody warned Obi-Wan not to land and that the zone was "too hot", but Obi-Wan's gunship was shot down and he landed near the landing zone putting a huge delay in the Republic's plans.
Cody and his men formed a defensive circle while Boil and Waxer went to find survivors amongst the wreckage of Obi-Wan's convoy. They dragged Obi-Wan back to Cody's position and he explained their situation to him. Anakin's gunship was the only one to make it to the rendezvous point. Ki-Adi-Mundi was making his was to the rendezvous point but there was no air support.
Eventually, Anakin and Ki-Adi-Mundi arrived to help Obi-Wan. Admiral Yularen was able to spare a squadron of Y-Wing bombers and they were able to clear the way for the Republic to move on to the separatist stronghold. Anakin and Ahsoka led a strike team in through the shield. They pushed forward cutting down all droids in their way. Soon after, the shield was shut down and the rest of their forces stormed the enemy territory. They were now one step closer to their objective.
Grievous Intrigue[]
General Grievous attacked Jedi General Eeth Koth's flagship and took him captive. The Jedi received a holo-transmission of Grievous boasting about his victory over Koth. The Jedi decided they must rescue him so, Anakin Skywalker, Adi Gallia, and Obi-Wan set out to retrieve Eeth Koth from the clutches of Grievous. Obi-Wan lured Grievous onto his command ship while Anakin and Adi Gallia boarded Grievous's flagship.
Obi-Wan dueled Grievous trying to give Anakin and Gallia time to rescue Koth. After a scuffle with commando droids, the Jedi released Koth. Grievous tries to return to his cruiser, but he is engaged in a duel by Adi Gallia. Grievous inevitably escapes but his cruiser was severely damaged. It crashed on the planet, Saleucami.
The Mandalore Plot[]
The Jedi Council sent Obi-Wan to investigate rumors that Duchess Satine Kryze was forming an army to aid the Separatists. Obi-Wan went to Sundari, the capital of Mandalore, and was reunited with Satine who he had known from a mission he had gone on with Qui-Gon Jinn. He consulted with Satine and Prime Minister Almec about a Mandalorian Saboteur that attacked a republic cruiser. Satine and Almec assured Obi-Wan that they were not involved in this horrific act of violence and Satine requested Obi-Wan joined her on a walk through Sundari.
Satine identified the saboteur as a member of Death Watch which was a terrorist group opposed to Satine's pacifistic ways. Satine and Obi-Wan approached the Memorial Shrine and moments later it exploded. Obi-Wan made sure Satine was alright and then went to inspect the damage. A hologram of the sign of Death Watch appeared. Obi-Wan instructed everyone who was present to remain there so he could question them about the bombing of the Memorial Shrine. One man fled the scene and Obi-Wan pursued. After a brief struggle between the man and Obi-Wan, the man jumped off a balcony preferring suicide rather than being interrogated by the Jedi.
The man's last words were spoken in a dialect native to Concordia, Mandalore's moon. Satine set out to meet with the Governor of Concordia, Pre Vizsla to investigate the matter. Obi-Wan left the Government complex they were in to investigate an abandoned mining facility. Obi-Wan was caught and captured by Death Watch warriors. He was put on a conveyor belt that led to a rock crushing machine. Obi-Wan contacted Satine and she came to rescue him. The two of them attempted to flee the facility but were discovered by Death Watch soldiers.
The commander approached them and he took off his helmet, revealing his true identity to be Pre Vizsla. Vizsla ignited his darksaber and dueled Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan began to win in the duel so Vizsla ordered his men to fire missiles on him. Obi-Wan grabbed Satine and took cover. The two of them escaped and returned to Sundari.
Obi-Wan assumed the Death Watch was being backed by the separatists and insisted the Duchess return to Coruscant with him. She reluctantly complied and they boarded a transport.
Voyage of Temptation[]
Obi-Wan, along with Anakin Skywalker, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and several clone troopers were onboard the vessel, Coronet with Duchess Satine acting as security on their way to Coruscant. Obi-Wan and Satine argued over the Clone Wars.
Anakin discovered assassin probes in the cargo hold of the ship. One of them fled to the room where Obi-Wan, Satine, and several other representatives were having a formal dinner. Obi-Wan disabled the droid, however it released hundreds of smaller assassin probes. Satine pulled out a droid deactivator and she and Obi-Wan defended each other against the swarms of droids.
Eventually, all the droids had been defeated. Anakin reported to Obi-Wan that the crate the droids had been delivered in had a senate stamp which meant one of the senators was a traitor. Obi-Wan devised a plan to pinpoint who the traitor was. The traitor turned out to be Tal Merrik and before Obi-Wan could apprehend him, Merrik took Satine hostage. Merrik blasted his way into the bridge of the cruiser and killed the pilots and other naval officers. He then rigged the engines of the ship to blow and he alone controlled the detonator. He attempted to board an escape pod which was where Obi-Wan found him and Satine. Merrik threatened Satine's life which prompted Satine to confess her love for Kenobi. Obi-Wan then replied saying that had satine given him the word, he would have left the Jedi Order. Merrik was disgusted by this and eventually began to press the detonator. Before he could press it, a blue lightsaber blade protruded from his chest. Anakin had come up from behind and stabbed Merrik.
The ship made it to Coruscant and unloaded it's passengers, while Obi-Wan and Satine parted ways for her to go to the senate.
Duchess of Mandalore[]
After the Coronet arrived on Coruscant, Duchess Satine discussed Mandalore's neutrality and the threat the Death Watch posed to the people. Chancellor Palpatine showed a holorecording of Deputy Minister Jerec stating how he feels about Republic intervention on Mandalore. He stated it was absolutely necessary which contradicts Satine's claims.
As Satine was leaving the Senate, her speeder was sabotaged. Her guards grabbed Satine and jumped off the speeder and landed on the platform of a skyscraper. Moments later, the speeder with the pilot inside crashed into the side of a tower and exploded on impact.
Satine informed Chancellor Palpatine of the attempt on her life. He thought this only strengthened his case that the Death Watch were out of control and needed Republic intervention. This prompted the Chancellor to call for an emergency meeting in the Senate.
Satine went into the city streets of Coruscant to meet with Davu Golec. In an alley, Golec handed her a recording of Jerec that had been unaltered unlike the one played during the Senate's meeting. Moments later, a sniper blast hit Golec in the chest. Satine pulls out her droid deactivator and glances around for the sniper. Police droids find Satine and Golec and assume she had shot Golec. They demand she come with them, yet she refuses and goes on the run. She was determined to return the holorecording to the senate.
She called for Obi-Wan which she discreetly met in a plaza. She slipped him the recording and they made their way to the senate. Before they can make it there they are attacked by a Death Watch assassin. The assassin throws a stun grenade down and Obi-Wan pushes Satine out of the way. He then engages the assassin in hand to hand combat. Eventually, the assassin escapes and Satine turns herself in while Obi-Wan delivers the recording to the senate.
The Republic aid to Mandalore is halted and Satine thanks Obi-Wan for his help. Satine fears Mandalore is full of corruption and returns to try and heal her planet.
Bounty Hunters[]
Obi-Wan, Anakin Skywalker, and his padawan Ahsoka responded to a distress signal above Felucia. They flew a shuttle to the planet but the signal was a trap and were shot down by vulture droids. The three Jedi discovered a village, and it seemed deserted. Anakin and Ahsoka discovered they were hiding. As Ahsoka tried to coax them out, bounty hunters surrounded them and demanded they leave. Moments later, Obi-Wan walked in to the small hut and the standoff intensified. Eventually, a farmer named Casiss walked in and persuaded the bounty hunters to stop.
The Jedi attended a meeting with the farmers and bounty hunters. The bounty hunters, led by Sugi were protecting the farmers and their crops from pirates. The Jedi reluctantly agreed to help after the pirates arrived after the meeting. The pirate gang was led by none other than Hondo Ohnaka. After realizing the pirates would return with greater numbers, the Jedi and bounty hunters began fortifying the farms in preparation for the attack. They trained the farmers in combat, however they were being watched.
A weequay pirate spy was spotted on a ridge overlooking the farms. Embo ran after him as the pirate attempted to flee on his speeder bike. Embo choked the spy to death so he could not report back about their progress. However, this meant Hondo would notice one of his men did not return.
Hondo's gang made their way to the farm, as the Jedi made their final modifications to the battlefield before the battle began. In no time, the pirates rode into the farmland on speeder bikes, firing as they went. Hondo manned a tank and fired at targets of his chosing.
The tank was tearing the village apart. One of the tank's victims was Rumi Paramita, another bounty hunter working with them. Eventually, Anakin lept up onto the tank and engaged Hondo in a duel.Anakin defeated Hondo and he retreated realizing that it was no longer profitable.
The bounty hunters offered the Jedi a ride back to Coruscant. They accepted and they boarded the ship, Halo and left Felucia.
The Zillo Beast Strikes Back[]
After the Battle of Malastare, the Zillo Beast was transported to Coruscant to be studied. Ineveitably, the beast escaped and went on a violent rampage throughout the streets of Coruscant. The beast attacked the senate building and Chancellor Palpatine, Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, C-3PO, and R2-D2 were forced to flee the building in a shuttle. The Zillo Beast caught the ship as it attempted to leave the building, and due to Anakin's quick thinking, the group inside the ship managed to escape it's clutches. Anakin cut the ship in half and it slid down the senate building. Obi-Wan and Mace Windu were at the bottom and saw what was transpiring, so they used the force to catch the part of the ship and levitate it to stable ground.
Eventually, Republic Gunships flew in and gassed the creature to death and Coruscant was saved.
ARC Troopers[]
Later, Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker intercepted a message between General Grievous and Ventress in which they were talking about their upcoming invasion on Kamino. Two Jedi with their troops arrived on Kamino and told bad news Shaak Ti and Lama Su. Not much later, a whole Separatist invasion jumped out of hyperspace and attacked the planet. While Anakin was leading an air strike team, Kenobi noticed that something was wrong. He knew that Separatist knew they didn't had enough frigates to take over the whole planet. So, he took his submarine and discovered Ventress's forces that will attack Tipoca City under water. While Kenobi wanted to return to the surface, he was seen by one of the aqua droids and they attacked his submarine. His
submarine was destroyed but he escaped on passing aiwha. Kenobi warned Ti and Skywalker about underwater invasion and ordered Anakin to return on the planet. Soon, both Grievous and Ventress were in the Tipoca City. While Ventress was fighting his Padawan in DNA room, Grievous dueled Kenobi, but the Jedi once more failed and both General and Ventress escaped. Though, with the efforts of Skywalker, Ventress failed to retrieve the clone DNA sample.
Hunt for Ziro[]
Obi-Wan and Quinlan Vos were tasked with capturing known fugitive, Ziro the Hutt. Ziro had incriminating evidence against the Hutt Council, so Jabba hired bounty hunter, Cad Bane to deal with him. After the Jedi investigated the Hutt homeworld of Nal Hutta, they went to Teth. There they found Ziro had been executed by someone. They assumed is was Cad Bane, however he insisted that the kill was too sloppy for the likes of him. Bane still was responsible for the Senate hostage crisis, so Kenobi and Vos decided to arrest the bounty hunter. After a long skirmish, Bane managed to escape. The real culprit behind the death of Ziro the Hutt was Sy Snootles. She accepted the bounty from the Hutts and returned the evidence that Ziro had come by.
Nightsisters[]
Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker took part in the Battle of Sullust. They led their forces in space agsinst the separatists led by Asajj Ventress. The Jedi engaged Ventress in space eventually leading to both of their ships crashing into the hangar of a separatist cruiser. Anakin and Obi-Wan then fought Ventress in lightsaber combat, although their duel was interrupted by the cruiser being fired upon by it's own fleet. Count Dooku ordered the execution of Ventress and demanded the fleet open fire on the cruiser. The Jedi and Ventress quickly boarded their respective starfighters and escaped the ship moments before it exploded. Ventress was presumed dead by the Separatists.
Witches of the Mist[]
Obi-Wan was among the Jedi who greeted Delta Squad as they delivered the bodies of Jedi killed during the Battle at the Temple of Eedit. Kenobi came to the conclusion that a wreckless, impulsive, animal was behind these killings. He was then summoned by Master Yoda and Mace Windu to view security footage of the battle, which revealed the murderer's identity. At first, Obi-Wan mistook the Zabrak as Darth Maul, but was corrected by Mace Windu, saying it was another Zabrak from the same tribe on Dathomir. The Jedi Council dispatched Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to find this monster and bring him to justice.
They travelled to Dathomir and arrived at the Nightbrother Village. They walked through the vacant streets, until they were attacked by the nightbrothers. The two Jedi were surrounded by the zabraks who were holding a variety of different weapons. Anakin saw the leader of the tribe watching over the capture. Anakin lept up and landed next to the tribal leader. Anakin held his lightsaber at the leaders throat and demanded that they lower their weapons. The brothers reluctantly complied and told the Jedi what they needed to know. Savage Opress had been taken by the Nightsisters to their temple.
The Jedi arrived at the temple and were escorted inside to speak with Mother Talzin. Obi-Wan asked where Savage was however, she avoided giving them a direct answer. Anakin grew angry and Obi-Wan demanded she give them an answer. Eventually, Talzin gave in and told them Savage's whereabouts. The Jedi irritably thanked her and made their way to Toydaria, which was Savage's next target.
The Jedi land on Toydaria and enter the palace of King Katuunko to confront Savage. They find Opress trying to escape with Katuunko as his prisoner. Anakin and Obi-Wan engage Opress in a duel. During the duel, Katuunko attempted to flee. Opress force choked Katuunko to stop him, however Katuunko struggled to much to the point where Opress killed him. Opress escaped the Jedi and dragged the body of Katuunko with him to his ship. As he ran to his ship, he forced the Jedi's ship off a cliff, giving Opress an advantage. The Jedi commandeered a Toydarian shuttle and pursued Opress until they landed on a Separatist cruiser.
Anakin and Obi-Wan arrived on the cruiser and encountered droids. They began to cut down the droids which slowed them down tremendously. Once they reached the room where Savage was, he had already participated in a duel between Asajj Ventress and Count Dooku. His anger escalated to the point of complete rage and charged at the Jedi. The Jedi were blown backwards and slammed into the wall behind them. They continued their duel throughout the ship until they reached the hangar.
Once they reached the hangar, they were all fired upon by droids. The Jedi took cover while Savage engaged the droids. He used the force and blew them all aside. He then ran for his ship and flew out of the hangar. The Jedi destroyed some of the remaining droids and then escaped in their ship as well. The location of Opress was unknown to the Jedi. They did not know what Savage would soon unleash on the galaxy.
Overlords[]
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano were sent to investigate a distress signal in deep space. They reached the coordinates but then they were pulled towards a crystal shaped structure. All three passengers were knocked unconscious. When they awoke, they had landed on a strange planet called Mortis. A woman appeared and asked if Anakin was the One. The Jedi were confused and then the woman said she would take them to him. They followed the Daughter although they were soon separated by a rockslide. Anakin went on his own with the Daughter, while Obi-Wan and Ahsoka went back to the ship. When they reached their destination, they found that the ship was missing and in its place was the Son. The Son then asked if it was true that Anakin was the Chosen One. Obi-Wan and Ahsoka drew their lightsabers. Obi-Wan asked if the Son was a Sith. The Son denied that accusation and then turned into a gargoyle and flew off.
Obi-Wan and Ahsoka were forced to take shelter in a cave because of a severe storm. As the Jedi rested Obi-Wan saw the Force Ghost of his former Master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon told Obi-Wan that there were three who seeked Skywalker. They like him, believed him to be the Chosen One.
The next day, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka were abducted by the Son and Daughter to take part in a test to see if Anakin really was the Chosen One. Anakin was able to prove himself to be the Chosen One by taming both of the children and saving his master and padawan. The Father pleaded that Anakin take his place and tame his children. However, Anakin refused and they attempted to leave the planet.
Altar of Mortis[]
As Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano and Kenobi attemped to flee the planet in their ship. However before they could leave, Ahsoka was kidnapped by the Son, and the Jedi were forced to return to the surface of Mortis. While Anakin left to rescue Ahsoka, Obi-Wan stayed with the ship. Suddenly the sanctuary of the Father appeared and Obi-Wan entered, seeking information and guidance from the Father. When he got inside, the Son had injured the Father with Sith lightning. The Daughter decided to help Obi-Wan stop the Son. She led Kenobi to the Altar of Mortis where he retrieved the Dagger of Mortis. The two set out to confront the Son.
Once Kenobi and the Daught arrived at the tower, Anakin was locked in a duel with his own padawan, Ahsoka. Ahsoka had been turned to the dark side by the Son's powers. Obi-Wan aided Anakin in his fight while the Daughter and the Son fought. The Father arrived to try and settle the dispute. Obi-Wan attempted to give the dagger to Anakin but Ahsoka intercepted it. She handed it to the Son and in return, the Son tapped her on the forehead, killing her.
The Son then tried to kill his Father with the dagger. The Daughter took the blow for him, which enraged the Son and he retreated. The Father said there was no hope for the survival of Ahsoka or the Daughter. Anakin and the Daughter disagreed. The Daughter then, with the help of Anakin, transferred the remaining energy she had into Ahsoka, bringing her back to life. The Daughter died and the balance of the force had shifted towards the dark side. The Father demanded that the Jedi leave the planet before the Son could use their ship to escape.
Ghosts of Mortis[]
As Kenobi, Skywalker, and Tano attempted to flee the enchanted planet, they noticed their ship was badly damaged, making flight impossible. While Ahsoka made repairs to the ship, Anakin left to speak with the Father. Anakin decided to confront the Son at the Well of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan set out to find Anakin, however he was too late. Once he reached Anakin, he had already been lured to the Dark Side after the Son showed him a vision of his dark future. In an effort
to stop Obi-Wan from interferring with the Son's escape from Mortis, Anakin destroyed Obi-Wan's speeder. With Obi-Wan stranded in the well, Anakin and the Son made their getaway. Kenobi quickly contacted Ahsoka and demanded she dismantle the ship so that the Son could not use it to escape. After, she went to pick up Obi-Wan. Once Anakin and the Son discovered the ship had been sabotaged, the Son left to retrieve the Dagger of Mortis from the grave of the Daughter. While Anakin was alone, the Father wiped Anakin's memory of his vision of the future, turning him back to the Light Side. Anakin joined Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and the Father in their final effort to stop the Son. The Son quickly defeated the Jedi, leaving the Father. The Father then pulled out the Dagger and stabbed himself, which and revealed that with his demise, the Son's powers would be taken away as well. The Son went to care for his father, giving Anakin the opportunity to impale the Son. Both the Son and the father were killed, restoring the balance to the force. Moments later, the three Jedi were transported back to their fully operational ship and were at the coordinates Captain Rex had provided earlier. Everything was back to normal and the Jedi were relieved that their emotional ordeal had ended.
The Citadel[]
The Jedi Council dispatched General Kenobi, Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano to rescue Jedi Master Even Piell who possessed the coordinates to a vital hyperspace route. Piell and his companions were being held on the planet Lola Sayu at a facility known as the Citadel.
Lightsaber Techniques[]
Obi-Wan was seen as one of the greatest duelists of the Jedi Order, having been one of the greatest masters of Form III, Soresu. This was a very defensive technique founded from deflecting blaster bolts. Though it suited Obi-Wan's "talk first, fight later" attitude very well. He switched to this form from Form IV, Ataru after Qui-Gon Jinn's death at the hands of Darth Maul because of lack of defense. He was also known to utilize Form I, Shii-Cho, and Form V, Shien.
