Biography[]

Clone Wars[]

Orson Krennic was a member of the Galactic Republic at the age of 15. He befriended Galen Erso and the two worked together in the Republic's Future Program. As a Lieutenant Commander, later Commander, in the Galactic Republic Special Weapons group, he rescues his old friend Galen Erso, a scientist who has been kidnapped with his family by Separatist agents. During the Clone Wars, he massacred civilians and noncombatants who were affiliated with the Separatists. Krennic and Erso eventually drifted apart when Krennic grew darker in his personality.

Imperial Era[]

The Summit[]

Around 18 BBY, Krennic was called by Governor Tarkin to attend a summit at his compound Raven's Peak alongside General Hurst Romodi, Admiral Barton Coburn, and Chief Scientist Doctor Royce Hemlock of the Advanced Science Division on his homeworld Eriadu. After listening to Romodi and Hemlock discuss their projects, Krennic was asked by Tarkin to enlighten them to the status on Project Stardust, which he was happy to oblige. Hemlock was quite interested in Krennic's work, since he knew it was of great importance to Emperor Palpatine. The compound was then attacked by Partisans as well as Clone Force 99, the latter whom were trying to trace Hemlock to his secret base, though Tarkin ensured Krennic, Coburn, and Romodi they were safe as the lockdown system was engaged in the meeting room and continued the summit with Hemlock being the only one who believed in Tarkin. Nonetheless, the compound was left damaged much to Tarkin's anger.
