Philo was a Republic Senator during the Clone Wars. He was shot by Cad Bane during a hostage situation in the Senate Building.
History[]
During the Clone Wars, Philo replaced senator Kharrus after his death on Florrum. Philo organized a meeting of important Senators in the lobby of the Senate Building in the lead up to a vote on the Enhanced Privacy Invasion Bill. Though Senator Philo managed to rally them together to oppose Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's attempts to pass the law, at that moment the Senators came under siege by a group of bounty hunters led by Cad Bane. Philo underestimated Bane's brutality, and attempted to walk away, but was shot in the back by the bounty hunter and was killed.
