The Progate Temple was a temple was built by the Geonosians on Geonosis before the time of the Clone Wars. Its catacombs were inhabited by Geonosian queen Karina the Great and her hive until 21 BBY.
History[]
After the Second Battle of Geonosis, Separatist Leader Poggle the Lesser retreated here after his base was destroyed by the Galactic Republic. He was protected by Karina the Great and her army of undead Geonosians. Luminara Unduli tracked him down to the temple and went in to attack, only to be caught by Karina's soldiers, and taken down to the catacombs with Karina the Great and Poggle the Lesser. Jedi Masters Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and a squad of clone troopers went in after Luminara, but they were attacked by some of the undead soldiers. While they were fighting, the clone troopers started shooting the supports of the catacombs, causing the catacombs and the temple to fall, but luckily Anakin saved Luminara, and got out, as did the clone troopers, and Poggle the Lesser. Due to the temple falling, it buried Karina the Great alive, with all of her undead geonosians.
