Pulsar, designated CT-9521, was a clone trooper sergeant who served in Tango Company during the Clone Wars. Pulsar and the rest of Tango Company were assigned to send relief supplies to a medical station over Ord Cestus to aid Mace Windu's forces on Dantooine. When Tango Company left Geonosis, Pulsar was infected by brain worms that Scythe brought on the ship. Pulsar helped capture Padawan Barriss Offee and tried to capture Ahsoka Tano but, like his fellow brothers, fell unconscious when the cold air killed the worms. He and the remaining members of Tango Company were soon stabilized.
