Behind the scenes[]
- "Resolve" adapts the basic plot of the novel Ahsoka written by E.K. Johnston, following Ahsoka's life in hiding after Order 66. The episode, however, depicts several events very differently from the novel.
- Ahsoka speaks with Bail at Padmé's funeral, while in the book they didn't meet until a year after the Clone Wars.
- The standoff between Ahsoka and the Inquisitor plays out similarly to the book, though the Inquisitor in the novel was named the Sixth Brother. The Inquisitor in this episode was identified as the Eleventh Brother by the official magazine, Star Wars Insider, in 2024.
- Dave Filoni said in an interview with Nerdist that this episode and the novel are two different takes on the same story. However, several official sources later clarified that the book's Inquisitor and the episode's Inquisitor have different names, therefore confirming that the novel and this episode are two separate stories.
