Scorch, designated RC-1262, served as a Clone Commando during the Clone Wars as a member of Delta Squad, under the command of Boss. Under the Empire, he was promoted to the rank of Commander and assigned to Mount Tantiss under Doctor Royce Hemlock.

Appearance[]

Scorch wore a heavily armored, specialized clone commando armor adorned with multiple grey and yellow markings. He also wore a backpack that held anti-armor rounds. He preferred to use the DC-17m Blaster Rifle with an anti-armor attachment. Later on, he would also use a standard DC-15S.

Biography[]

Witches of the Mist[]

Scorch accompanied his squadmates searching on Devaron, where they discovered Jedi Master Halsey and his padawan Knox had been mysteriously killed. Delta Squad then returned the bodies to the Jedi Temple.

War-Mantle[]

Like many clone commandos following the end of the war, Scorch was chosen to serve as an instructor for the soldiers of the Galactic Empire. He served on a hidden military base on the remote planet of Daro, training some of the first non-clone Stormtroopers. When another instructor, Captain Gregor, attempted to desert from the Imperial Army, he sent out a distress call that was picked up by Clone Force 99. The team snuck into the base and freed Gregor from his cell, tripping an alarm in the process.

Scorch responded with a team of stormtroopers. He tried to head off the group by leaping across a turbolift shaft and swinging into the adjacent hallway. Scorch wounded Gregor with two shots to the chest and shoulder, but then fell from multiple stun bolts fired by Clone Force 99. The team succeeded in freeing Gregor, but their leader Hunter was captured in the process.

Metamorphosis[]

Scorch was sent to recover an escaped Zillo Beast clone who escaped containment and crashed its transport ship en route to the Empire's secret cloning facility on Wayland. After the beast was secured, Scorch oversaw a contingent of clone commandos who rounded up the villagers on the planet to contain any witnesses to the incident. He later reported to Doctor Royce Hemlock on Wayland that during the mission, his forces encountered a rogue Omicron-class attack shuttle. Hemlock ordered Scorch to find out who they were.
