Two Senate guards

The Senate Guard was a unit within the Senate Security force responsible for protecting the government buildings on Coruscant, the Republic's capital. Like Senate Commandos, their main job was to protect the Chancellor, other Senators and the numerous other state officials working in the Senate Hall. The Senate Guard force was not part of the Republic military apparatus and thus was not composed of Clone Troopers.

Equipment[]

Senate Guards were very similar in appearance to Senate Commandos, having similarly designed metallic blue armor. However, they had slightly differently designed helmets with larger crests, white markings, and a cloak of the same color as their armor. The Guard was armed with DC-15 blaster rifles during the Clone Wars Era.
