Skalders were non-sentient animals native to the pirate world of Florrum. During the Clone Wars, these animals were ridden on by Clone Troopers apart of the Galactic Republic and Pirates apart of the Ohnaka Gang. Jar Jar Binks also rid these animals to catch up to swoop bikes being ridden by pirates. The Skalder's speed is very high, because the animal could catch up to the swoop bikes.
