The third season of Star Wars: Clone Wars consists of five episodes. It debuted with "Chapter 21" on March 21, 2005 on Cartoon Network, and concluded with "Chapter 25" on March 25, 2005.

Premise[]

Witness firsthand the trials of Anakin Skywalker and the secret ceremony in which he becomes a Jedi Knight. Then, follow the Jedi as they attempt to repel a surprise attack by General Grievous on the galactic capital, Coruscant.

The third and final season of Star Wars: Clone Wars debuted "Chapter 21" on March 21, 2005 on Cartoon Network, followed by daily airings. The season concluded with "Chapter 25" on March 25, 2005.

Chapter 21

3.01 | March 21, 2005
Picking up where Volume I left off, this episode begins on the battle-scarred world of Hypori, in the wreckage of a crashed Republic starship. Inside, General Grievous continues to cut through a team of trapped Jedi warriors. It's up to a crack unit of heavily armed ARC troopers to come to the rescue.

Anakin Skywalker is now a Jedi Knight, and his effective teamwork with Obi-Wan Kenobi has earned them reputations as unparalleled heroes in the Republic. Throughout extended campaigns in the Outer Rim Sieges, they managed to turn the tide and defy the odds. But the Separatist forces are spreading everywhere, and hunting down General Grievous becomes the gravest concern. To this end, Skywalker and Kenobi venture to Nelvaan, a strange planet where Grievous was supposedly spotted.

The battle for Coruscant has begun! An immense fleet of Separatist ships invades the Republic capital, and the streets of Coruscant overflow with battle droid forces. Jedi Masters Mace Windu, Yoda and Saesee Tiin lead the charge to defend the city planet. Meanwhile, on Nelvaan, Anakin Skywalker starts to undergo an ancient ritual as challenging as any Jedi trial...

Chapter 24

General Grievous and his relentless MagnaGuards have pierced the heart of the Republic to kidnap the beloved Chancellor Palpatine. Shaak Ti leads the Jedi in defending the Chancellor from this unstoppable threat. Meanwhile, deep below the surface of Nelvaan, Anakin experiences a disturbing glimpse into his future as well as discovers an evil Separatist plot.

Anakin Skywalker has discovered the terrible secret beneath Nelvaan -- a Confederacy laboratory that is transforming the noble Nelvaanian warriors into hideous monsters. On Coruscant, the Jedi try to secure Chancellor Palpatine in the deepest of protected bunkers, but is anywhere safe from General Grievous?

This final installment of Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume II takes viewers right to the start of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
