Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is an animated series of shorts from Lucasfilm in the same animation style as Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It is the first season of the anthology series, Star Wars: Tales. Three episodes focus on Count Dooku during his time as a Jedi, and the other three focus on Ahsoka Tano across her life before, during and after the Clone Wars. The season consists of six episodes, which were released on October 26, 2022 on Disney+.
Premise[]
A 6 episode event featuring parables built around Jedi from the prequel era. Journey into the lives of two distinctly different Jedi -- Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku. Each will be put to the test as they make choices that will define their destinies.
Development[]
On May 28, 2022, a new 6-part animated short series set to premiere in Fall 2022 on Disney+ was announced at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. A second season was announced at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023. This was later revealed to be a sequel series, titled Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, to be released on May 4, 2024.
