Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld is an animated series of shorts from Lucasfilm that is the third installment of the Star Wars: Tales anthology series. It shares the animation style and format of its predecessor series and focuses on Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane, with three episodes per character. It consists of six episodes total, released on May 4, 2025 on Disney+.

On April 2, 2025, Tales of the Underworld was announced via the release of a trailer on YouTube and a poster on StarWars.com. These promotions included a release date on Star Wars Day of that year, May 4th.
Release[]
The first episode, "A Way Forward", was screened for attendees of Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 18, 2025. The first two episodes were shown in a watch party event through the video game, Fortnite, on May 2, 2025. The full series was released on Disney+ on May 4, 2025.
