Sterling was a Clone Trooper who served in the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars. He was a member of the 332nd Company and fought alongside former Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano in the Siege of Mandalore.
Biography[]
The Phantom Apprentice[]
During the battle, his squad worked with ARC Trooper Jesse in securing one of Sundari's access ports. They soon encountered former Sith Lord Darth Maul, who carved through the clones demanding to know Tano's whereabouts. Sterling was among the few survivors of Maul's rampage and reported to Tano that Maul abducted Jesse, apparently sensing the veteran clone's age and experience.
