The Techno Union was an interstellar corporate entity that became a major faction within the Seperatist political hierarchy. Along with leaders in the Trade Federation and Intergalactic Banking Clan the Techno Union was one of the financial backers which helped created the Seperatist Confederacy. Wat Tambor was the foreman of the Techno Union, and controlled it on many occasions.

History[]

Early War[]

Wat Tambor pledged the Techno Union's allegiance to the Separatists and Count Dooku on Geonosis. Tambor later moved against his fellow Separatist Council member Passel Argente of the Corporate Alliance. Wat had a droid rigged for espionage to spy on him. While doing this, he found him transporting stolen goods to Ryloth from Christophsis.

Ryloth[]

Wat then led a massive force to the planet Ryloth and captured the Twi'lek homeworld. Emir Tambor assigned Neimoidian Mar Tuuk to command the Separatist blockade above the planet, while Tambor took the capital city Lessu. The Republic counterattacked, and even though outnumbered, their forces prevailed. Mace Windu then lead a successful ground campaign to liberate the capital. During the fighting there, Wat Tambor was captured but the Separatist leader later escaped Republic custody.

Skako Minor[]

Rex, Clone Force 99 and Anakin Skywalker launched a mission to Skako Minor which is headquarters of Techno Union. After the Battle of Lola Sayu Echo was presumed dead, but he was actually alive and taken in custody by the Techno Union. The Bad Batch, Rex, Skywalker and Echo escaped in the end.

Nelvaan[]

Near the end of the war, Techno Union combat engineeers were stationed on the remote planet of Nelvaan where they constructed a massive generator to steal the planet's natural thermal energy. The Skakoan combat engineer leading the project also preform grotesque experiments which mutated the native Nelvaanian warriors. Anakin Skywalker attacked the base destroying it, the generator and the Separatist engineers.

End of the War[]

Wat Tambor, after escaping Utapau, was sent to Mustafar by General Grievous. He, along with all of the other council members, was killed there, marking the long war's end. The Techno Union was then dissolved, its remnants absorbed into the Galactic Empire.
