The third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, subtitled Secrets Revealed, consists of twenty-two episodes. It debuted with "Clone Cadets" and "ARC Troopers" on September 17, 2010 on Cartoon Network, and concluded with "Padawan Lost" and "Wookiee Hunt" on October 18, 2011.

Premise[]

As the Clone Wars consume the Star Wars galaxy, new threats emerge from the conflict, further disrupting the tenuous balance of power. In addition to assassins, bounty hunters, monsters and more, Season Three pits the Jedi Knights against Jabba the Hutt, Greedo and the deadly brother of Sith apprentice Darth Maul! Mystery, intrigue and adventure await Padawan Ahsoka Tano as she must prove her strength as a Jedi with the help of a familiar furry ally, Chewbacca.

Release[]

The third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted with a one-hour special consisting of "Clone Cadets" and "ARC Troopers" on September 17, 2010 on Cartoon Network, followed by weekly airings occurring on Fridays. It went on mid-season break after "Pursuit of Peace" on December 3, 2010.

The season returned with "Nightsisters" on January 7, 2011. It concluded with a one-hour special consisting of "Padawan Lost" and "Wookiee Hunt" on April 1, 2011.

Cad Bane has broken Ziro the Hutt out of prison and the Hutt Council demands that Ziro tell them where he's hidden vital -- and incriminating -- information. Ziro makes another daring escape with the help of Sy Snootles, and Bane is back on the Hutt's trail -- but he's not the only one. The Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Quinlan Vos need to find him too. Now it's a race to get to Ziro before it's too late.

When the Senate begins debate on a bill that would eliminate government oversight of the Banking Clan's activities, Padmé and Ahsoka travel in secret to the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, in an attempt to forge a peace agreement with the Separatists.

Padmé, Bail Organa, and Onaconda Farr attempt to rally Senators in opposition to a bill that would appropriate funds for millions of new clone troops and have disastrous financial consequences for the Republic. Their opposition to the measure, however, soon makes them targets for intimidation and attacks by hired guns.

Darth Sidious, troubled by Ventress's growing prowess with the dark side of the Force, commands Count Dooku to eliminate her. When Ventress survives Dooku's assassination attempt, the jilted former apprentice vows to take revenge, enlisting her kinswomen -- the Nightsisters of Dathomir -- in her scheme.

When Count Dooku calls upon the Nightsisters seeking a replacement for Ventress, she and her kin seize the opportunity to exact revenge. Ventress visits the far side of Dathomir and the males of the planet seeking the most brutal and powerful warrior among them. Through their witchcraft, the Nightsisters transform Savage Opress into a monstrous killer designed to turn on his new master.

Anakin and Obi-Wan, sent to track down the mysterious figure behind the deaths of several Jedi, soon find themselves on the trail of the monstrous apprentice that Ventress has created: Savage Opress. However, Dooku and Ventress also discover that this new apprentice has a will of his own....
