Trial of Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Trial

Location
"Ahsoka Tano. You have been charged with sedition against the Jedi Order and the Republic itself. This court will decide your fate."
―Chancellor Palpatine[src]

The trial of Ahsoka Tano took place in 20 BBY when Ahsoka Tano was accused of bombing the Jedi Temple, murdering Letta Turmond as well as several Republic officers.

Prelude[]

"It is the Council's opinion that padawan Ahsoka Tano has committed sedition against the Republic, and thus, she will be expelled from the Jedi Order."
Mace Windu to Ahsoka Tano, so that she may be subject to a Republic trial[src]

After a bombing on the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker were called back to Coruscant to investigate. They found out that a Coruscanti citizen, Letta Turmond, had fed Nano-droids to her husband used to bomb the hangar. She was transferred to Republic Military Base, from where she requested a visit with Ahsoka. She told her a Jedi was actually behind the bombing and was about to reveal the Jedi's name, when she was Force-choked to death. Ahsoka was blamed for the murder, but the Jedi padawan escaped from the prison complex after she was hunted by clones led by her master. She then disappeared into the Underworld where she paired up with Asajj Ventress to prove her innocence. How ever she was set up and found in a warehouse full of nano-droid explosives. Admiral Tarkin convinced the Jedi council to expel her from the Jedi Order, so the Republic could put her on trial.
