This species had a colony on the planet Balnab. They are characterized by tentacle-like growths on their members' faces.

About

Biology

The species had large faces with small tentacled mouths, similar to a Quarren, and had two small organic horns near their nostrils. They also had stout hands and feet with no nails.

History

By the time of the Clone Wars, they had inhabited a region on the planet and followed a holographic figure, Albee Dewaw. However, unbeknownst to them, their so-called leader was not who he seemed. Some group members seemed to scour the land often, and on one trip, came across the droids C-3PO and R2-D2. They brought the droids to their residence; however, their leader became furious and killed one individual of this species. After R2-D2 found that Pit Droids controlled a holographic Dewaw, the Balnab attacked and destroyed the droids' control room, creating a large explosion that possibly engulfed the inhabitants.
