Wilco was a Clone Captain who served in the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire. His company was assigned with emptying the wealth from former Separatist leader Count Dooku's castle on Serenno.
Biography[]
Spoils of War[]
Wilco and his company were stationed on Serenno after the end of the Clone Wars to retrieve the war chest of the late Count Dooku for the Empire. As the clones loaded the goods onto Imperial Cargo Ships, the rogue clones of the Bad Batch raided one of the containers to steal part of the war chest. When they destroyed two V-Wing Starfighters as a diversion, Wilco ordered the final transport to take off immediately.
Three members of the rogue team were still aboard the cargo ship when it took off. The clones reported this to Wilco, who then ordered the ship to jettison all escape pods. The rest of his men joined Wilco in searching Dooku's castle for the other two thieves, Hunter and Wrecker. They cornered the two in Dooku's former office, but they escaped through an escape hatch just behind Dooku's desk.
Ruins of War[]
Wilco deployed his men to secure Castle Serenno before the thieves could escape, but also learned that the three aboard the cargo ship had jettisoned the freight assembly, sending the containers of wealth crashing down to the surface. Forced to divide his troops, Wilco sent half of his men to recover the fallen goods while the other half would sweep the city ruins for the fugitives.
Wilco's company swiftly closed off all exit points from the city and began a radial sweep to flush them out. They soon cornered Hunter and Wrecker near a column of old Armored Assault Tanks, only to be routed when Wrecker salvaged a shell launcher from one of the tanks. Several of Wilco's men were injured or killed in the ensuing barrage and avalanche. Hunter and Wrecker used this opening to escape to their shuttle, the Havoc Marauder, which they used to rescue their friends who had survived the crash in the container.
Afterward, Wilco filed a report on the incident which caught the attention of Vice Admiral Rampart. Rampart visited in-person to address Wilco's claim that the would-be thieves were Clone Force 99, which Rampart had previously reported to be dead. Wilco insisted that he distinctly saw two members of the squad. Hoping to hide his error from Grand Moff Tarkin, Rampart ordered Wilco to omit any mention of the rogue clones in his new report. When Wilco refused to submit a false report, Rampart shot and killed him on the spot.
