Yos Kolina was the Mon Calamari King of Dac before his death at the hands of Separatist Commander Riff Tamson during the Clone Wars.

Loyal to the Galactic Republic, Kolina found his homeworld of Dac—and the entire Calamari system—threatened by General Grievous and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. As such, he requested the Jedi Order's assistance to combat the Separatist invasion, and the Jedi responded by confronting Grievous's forces at Iceberg III. While attempting to keep the peace between the Mon Calamari and the Quarren, however, Kolina was stabbed by Riff Tamson, and the conflict in the system escalated toward civil war. Following Kolina's death, his son, Prince Lee-Char took over as leader of Mon Calamari.
